Presence is a fresh approach to church in central Leicester. We’re building a whole new social and spiritual network amongst postmodern people, young adults, people in apartments along the waterfront, DMU and the inner ring road to the west of the city centre.

Our approach is to reconnect people with the beauty, truth and goodness found in Jesus Christ without any of the baggage of traditional church and its culture. We’re simply helping people find the epic life of passion and purpose that He’s already given each of us.

We’re just a group of ordinary people building something together that we believe is special. we’re all work in progress making new friends helping each other work out how to live a life that works in this vibrant and busy city; you’re most most welcome to be part of it.

Presence is based on building relationships with each other, making church attractive and fun, being everywhere, embracing all of life, building a better world together and constantly connecting with people around us. Church is where we meet as church as church is who we are.

Lots of our time is spent making friends in bars, cafe’s and gyms, at the shops, cinema or through music, enjoying whatever the people we meet enjoy. We’re committed to helping those in the area who are in need through money management and personal debt relief, lifeskills, projects with young people and improving the local environment.
